Natya Tarangini International is celebrating its 2nd Anniversary by presenting a concert by the students from USA, UK, Muscat, Singapore and Europe trained in regular monthly classes with Smt. Bhavana Reddy online. They will all come together in an in-person summer camp later this month, leading up to their performance at this concert.

Natya Tarangini International

Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy's daughter Bhavana Reddy as a Director of Natya Tarangini New Delhi, founded the International Institution of Kuchipudi Dance, based in Los Angeles as an international branch to the headquarters in New Delhi. The institution has a strength of 40-50 students since its inception in 2020, where students seek training personally from Ms. Reddy under the Guru-Shishya Parampara. They hail from the USA, Middle East, UK, Singapore and Australia. The classes take place online and offline engaging deserving students professionally in local and international concerts. Her dance troupe has accompanied her in concerts for Telugu Association of Southern California, Los Angeles; National Center for Performing Arts, Mumbai, Embassy of India, Washington DC, Tribal Museum, Ujjain, Election Commission of India and so on. The Los Angeles institute represents its students across the states by hosting pop up concerts annually where the students showcase their training and talent to the local communities. Natya Tarangini International strives to advocate the values and ethics upheld by Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dance practice and its practitioners in India amongst the rest of the world.

Bhavana Reddy

Bhavana Reddy, internationally acclaimed young Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dancer. Nearing three decades, her career started at the tender age of 4 under her illustrious parents Dr.s Raja Radha Reddy. Los Angeles Times review headlined “Indian Classical Soloists Stand Out” mentioned “The Reddys’ 8-year-old daughter, Bhavana, made her mark, displaying a budding ability to mesmerize in her own solo.” - Jennifer Fisher

As a solo performing artiste she has presented workshops and concerts for prestigious organisations, Embassies and Consulates of India across the world including Germany, Singapore, Sydney, San Francisco, Spic Macay, Temple of Fine Arts Malaysia, Indonesia, National Museum Copenhagen, Kennedy Center Washington DC, Mudra Festival NCPA, Mumbai Sanskriti Festival, Kalidas Samaroh Nagpur, Yagnaraman Festival Krishnagana Sabha. 

She founded Natya Tarangini International Institution for Kuchipudi Dance and trains dedicated student in this artform. 

Bhavana is the recipient of the coveted National Award for Dancers under 40 from Ministry of Culture Govt of India Body ‘Sangeet Natak Akademi’ amongst numerous other awards. She is also the recipient of a grant from the renowned European choreographer Jiri Kylian’s Foundation. 

Some collaborative highlights include - the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra’s, ‘Rite of Spring’ with Kitty Mcnamee at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Currently she is on tour in Europe as the ‘Artist-in-Residence’ choreographing with Leo Spreksel for India Dans Festival, Korzo Netherlands, and with Prof. Ronan Guilfoyle, Director School of Jazz, Dublin City University, Ireland.
